Small Seaside Marbled Cup

$25.00
  • I’m donating 100% of proceeds from this item to The Craft Emergency Relief Fund (CERF+), an organization that provides climate disaster relief to craft artists.

  • Small wheel-thrown cup made from porcelain clay

  • Perfect size for: Sake or a double-espresso. I use a similar cup for an occasional immunity shot of Emergen-C.

  • The marbled effect is made by hand-tinting small batches of porcelain with different colors of mason stain, and then twisting those colors together as I throw the clay on the pottery wheel.

  • This style of ceramics is called agateware because of its likeness to the swirling inside of the semiprecious stone.

  • Has a clear glaze finish on the inside. The outside is matte and unglazed with a buttery texture that’s smooth to the touch.

  • Approximately 2 ½ inches tall and 2 ½ inches wide
